Well, I got a Sous Vide Supreme for my birthday and a starter kit of molecular gastronomy chemicals for my wife for Christmas. We’ve succeeded (and failed) at a number of things so far, including appealing photos of food. Drinks in suspension, saffron noodles, mint caviar, salmon, eggs, flank steak, and short ribs are all in the queue.
